What data we process

Browsing data. Like any website, the server records the IP address, the page requested, the date and time and the browser type. This data is needed to run the site and protect it from abuse, and is kept for short periods.

Contact requests. When you fill in the form we process the data you enter: first and last name, business name and type, town, email, phone number if you provide it, your message and your consent choices. Along with the request we record the page you sent it from, any campaign it came from and a non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address, used solely to block repeated automated submissions.

Chat with Enea. The questions you ask the assistant Enea and its answers are recorded without your IP address or any other device data, together with a random conversation code, to improve the answers and understand what interests those who contact us. Please do not write personal data in the chat: to be contacted, use the form. Conversations are deleted after 12 months. To generate the answers, the conversation text is processed by the provider of the artificial intelligence model (Google), acting as data processor.

Statistics. Only if you accept in the banner, we use Google Analytics to count visits in aggregate form. Without your consent, Analytics does not store cookies.

Why and on what legal basis

• Replying to your request and preparing a demo or an offer for you: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Sending you news and offers from ENEA Cloud: only with your optional consent (art. 6.1.a), which you may withdraw at any time.
• Protecting the site and the form from abuse: our legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f).

• Visit statistics: only with your consent (art. 6.1.a).

Providing the data in the form is optional, but without contact details we cannot reply to you.

How long we keep it

Contact requests that do not lead to a business relationship are deleted 24 months after the last exchange. If you consent to marketing communications, we use your data for that purpose until you withdraw your consent. If you become a customer, the data is kept for the periods required by the contract and by tax obligations.

Who sees it

The data is processed by us and by the providers we need for the service, appointed as data processors: Hetzner Online GmbH for the servers (Germany), our email provider for service emails, Google for the artificial intelligence model that generates Enea’s answers, and Google Ireland Limited for statistics, if you accept them. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties.

Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw your consent, by writing to alessandro@enea-cloud.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
